As we move into July, a month that celebrates freedom for many in the USA, it’s an opportune
time to reflect on the concept of freedom in our health. Often, we hand over our health to the
care of someone else, relying on practitioners to “fix” us. While skilled practitioners are
invaluable, it’s crucial to recognize that our bodies are inherently designed to heal themselves.
Health providers are there to guide and support our bodies’ natural ability to restore balance,
rather than be the sole source of our healing.

Understanding this concept is both empowering and liberating. Yet, for many who have felt stuck
in the conventional healthcare system, this shift can seem overwhelming. It’s easy to feel lost
when we’ve been conditioned to depend solely on external expertise for our well-being.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my practice is witnessing people take ownership of their
health journeys. It’s about helping patients understand that their internal awareness and
inherent knowledge of their bodies play a crucial role in their well-being. When you learn to
